This is my first ever blog and it will be all about my love for films and why I chose to take Media at sixth form.
Firstly, I have loved films from being a child. I've always had a lot of love for all things Disney. Media is a huge part of my life, as is the case for most teenagers! We use social media sites like twitter, facebook, instagram, tumblr to express our feelings and thoughts everyday.
I've always loved photography. Which is why I am very excited to learn how to film and edit images and sound. I've always been very select in my tastes visually and sonically and I love vintage footage and classical melodies pieced together and modernised. I have been inspired to want to learn how to create music videos by one of my favourite artists Lana Del Rey. She created the music video for 'video games'. The video includes many pieces of vintage footage which she has always loved or are videos she has recorded in places that mean a lot to her.
